Head Scout for Real Salt Lake of Major League Soccer
An RSL original, Williams joined the staff of Real Salt Lake as the head scout after playing seven seasons with the club. Before hanging up his boots in 2011,the Jamaican international appeared 97 times for his country scoring 20 goals while appearing 189 times in an RSL jersey scoring 14 times. Williams has played for five other MLS sides before joining RSL in 2005, bringing with him a wealth of experience to the Wasatch Front.
Williams first joined the staff of Real Salt Lake as an assistant coach when then-head coach Jeff Cassar was appointed in 2014. Williams now serves as the club’s head scout and has played an integral part in the signings of several RSL players, including playmaker Albert Rusnák.
